Eat Nourishing, Real Food

I need to find delicious Real Food Recipes that my family and I can enjoy. It is so difficult to find real meals at the market. In one aisle, you have the frozen food section. The aisles in the middle of the store include quick meals, but are often loaded with gluten or monosodium glutumate. These meals do not have people with allergies in mind. One time, I rushed my son to the hospital because he had an allergic reaction to a meal I just made. He has a wheat allergy. Wheat and components of wheat are ingredients in a lot of products. This is because they are used as binding and thickening agents for processed foods. Gluten is the protein found in wheat and grains. Having a child with a life threatening food allergy is stressful when that certain food is found in just about everything made by the food industry.

This is why I need to learn how to make my own meals for my family. Luckily, for me, the recipes are easy to find and easy to make. They only take a few minutes to prepare, and a few minutes to cook. I do not need to buy any extra ingredients. In fact, I have most of the ingredients that these recipes call for. What I don’t have I can find easily in the local stores. Now that I use recipes that tell me exactly what I need to use for gluten-free meals I do not have to make risky guesses any longer. I used to try to bake muffins and cookies by substituting various flours in place of all-purpose white flour but it never worked. That is why I am happy to have a good supply of recipes now. My family and will be able to Eat Nourishing meals without worrying about allergic reactions.
