I’m a writer and communications practitioner with experience in music marketing and development, and working with organisations with a social purpose.
I’ve worked for many years with a young up and coming rock-band (Thyrd Eye) and provided informal advice to lots of other musicians. Before becoming self-employed full-time in 2003, I was Head of Communications at Sound Sense, the UK development agency for community music - promoting music's social (not just sociable!) purpose - and Marketing Manager at St David’s Hall Cardiff, a 1,800 seat concert hall/music venue. A lot of my work has involved music and young people: I’ve recently carried out research into young people’s music-making for a new forum of organisations involved with music development in Gloucestershire, UK (Gloucestershire Music Forum) and I’m currently working with the music education service for that county, on their new website.
I’m a member of the editorial team for the UK government's Every Child Matters website
www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters and I’ve edited a number of books about young people and participation, for the co-operative/social enterprise, Dynamix (Wales, UK).
This is an all very formal introduction to me! For a slightly more personal insight see

I'm here ... just really to find out more about musicians and music, and to contribute and help where I can.

I am looking for some more people to help make them some extra cash online.
I have been working at home now for nearly 2 years, and it rocks when I am able to help others do the same.
